2019' VDL Citea SLFA 180 Electric
Copenhagen. Movia route 2A was one of the first routes in Copenhagen to go fully electric back in 2019. It has been challenging! The VDL buses have not performed well, and the charging stations at the end stations are troublesome, now with breakdown on three out of four stations - four days in a row. The VDL buses need recharging at least every second round trip in order to keep their schedule. Luckily GoCollective (former Arriva) got some withdrawn Scania diesel buses they could use, and they have borrowed some Volvo's from outside Copenhagen to keep most of the service up since they do not want to use new spare BYD electrics from route 4A & 200S.
